Beyond the Clouds ( Road to Kingston Video Mix )

我在夏天的一个黄昏乘美铁驶出罗德岛的普罗维登斯时拍摄了这个手机视频。植被的质感和建筑的线条被速度混合着，配上偶尔浮现的晚霞，让我想起CV313的杰作。添加音频时，我保留了视频里的原始背景声音，算是对CV313声景哲学的致敬。非常偶然的是，列车（和这个视频）的到站是Kingston。虽然不是牙买加的那个Kingston，但想象着自己高速向Dub音乐的腹地驶去是非常动人的感觉。Dub techno飘逸的极致。

Shot this cellphone video when I rode out of Providence, Rhode Island in a late summer afternoon. Shapes of architecture and texture of vegetation blended perfectly by speed, with the serenity of sunset occasionally revealed in the background, reminding me of the masterpiece by CV313. I keep original background sound in the mix following its soundscape philosophy. Coincidentally, the destination of this video is Kingston. not the one in Jamaica, but I always find myself profoundly touched envisioning this video heading towards the heartland of Dub in high speed. Dub techno in its ethereal extremity.
